A few avenues to be explored this weekend....Quite like the look of Everton @1.5, they are solid at home and Reading are woeful away. they have not won on their travels this season, only drawing 3 and losing the rest. They have lost the last 3 conceding 10 and scoring 5.The Merseysiders are on a six-match unbeaten run whilst The Royals are on a run of six straight defeats. These figures wouldn't put me off the handicap plays as well Newcastle's recent outings have been poor even in their draws against Bolton and Boro at home so a play on Villa looks a good shout.Villa have a home record that shows just 4 defeats whilst 'the Toon army' have lost 8 on the road.Despite havig Martins back and Owen scoring again i think O'Neills boys will have to much for them @1.8. Finally i'll plump for Derby !!! @ 6.5 Derby have recently recorded draws against City and Birmingham and sooner or later they will get a victory and it could be against a team, who despite improvement have only won once out of 13 aways. GL to all whoever you follow

I am no fan of supporting Newcastle with any sort of money but I've grown to be cautious of Villa at home at odds on prices. I would have to think carefull to backing them when they are without Agbonlahor. But what do know?

Looks a very trappy card to me. I went through a little run of finding what I thought were some value prices in the Premiership, but everything is starting to look as it should be. Again. I could be tempted to throw a few quid on Fulham at close to 4/1. Possibly Derby if they drfit any further. That's about it.

Looked at the 'Boro game and perhaps the best way to go is to Lay Boro.I find them infuriatingly hard to work out but perhaps its Fulham who more attention should be loked at.Hodgson got his first win last week and they approach this game with slightly more confidence than of late. The new signings are settling and let not underestimate Hodgson who is more than capable of getting Fulham out of the drop zone. They'll fancy getting something out of this.Boro could give a debut to Alves but it'll asking a bit for him to get going immediantly in front of goal .Must admit the 4's is looking tempting.

This is not confirmed by any means, but rumours are Alves won't start. Wouldn't be a big problem if Tuncay was fit or Mido was in shape, but it is when it means Dong Gook Lee is set to stand-in

Onto Sundays action and in particular Chelsea at home to Liverpool where i feel the Merseysiders can return home with something. In a game which is unlikely to be a goal-fest ( last 3 results between the sides at Stamford bridge have seen Chelsea win 2-0,1-0,1-0 ) i just can't see Liverpool losing.Chelsea despite having a strong home record have only been scraping results against teams who they should be dealing easier.I thought Liverpool were the better team in the reverse fixture at Anfield until the penalty and am sure Benitez will aim to frustrate them again. I would argue that the value here would be in supporting Liverpool on the AH as i feel Chelsea do not give me encouragement in there outright price @2. It will probably be dull, tight and not a good advert for the game but hopefully The Reds will justify my optimism.

I think you have earned a promotion,Spirit of Eden. You may have to wait a day or so but should shortly be getting an email confirming Gold status. Banging away at the old drum; so many people arrive in Bronze and yet never post anything other than spam. It is well worth making the effort.
