Default Premiership team of the year

Surely this is a joke:

PFA Premier League Team of the Year:
Edwin van der Sar, Gary Neville, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra (all Man Utd); Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Cristiano Ronaldo (all Man Utd) and Steven Gerrard (Liverpool); Didier Drogba (Chelsea) and Dimitar Berbatov (Tottenham)

United have 8 players on the team of the year. If that was the case surely they would be 20 points clear, and they have all of the best back 5..........

I know I'm biased but how van der Sar can be picked ahead of David James? Jambo has been absolutely immense all season long.

Saying that it was voted by the players themselves wasn't it?

Think Essien, Arteta, Carragher and Taylor deserve a mention as well as Scott Carson.

But if it's the players who've voted..........

James for Van Der Saar
Carragher for Ferdinand
Essien for Gerrard

Seem to be the three no-brainers. I'd even argue whether Neville, Scholes and Giggs should be in there. Why not Finnan, Fabregas, Sidwell, Arteta?

Another reason why I hope United win nowt.

No, can't have Terry this year. Doesn't quite look the same. Don't know if he's working his way back still to 100% or he's tired but he's not marking players tight enough for me and people are turning too quickly on him.

I'm not a footie fan, a well known FACT back in the land of Betfairies.

I've just had the early news on from Athens and can't believe that people have trekked to Greece without a ticket for the match, and that some touts are asking, and may get, up to £1,500 for a ticket.

When these boys get home I know a good psychiatrist if anybody wants one.

He sorted each way out.

If City ever got to a major final I would definitely travel over without a ticket.
I travelled to Poland without a ticket a few years ago when we were in UEFA cup. Managed to get in to Groclins poxy ground for nowt tho
As for paying 1500 sheets for a ticket, forget it!! Although I did pay 350 for CL final at Old Trafford to see Milan V Juventus. One hell of a good night, all the Italian fans were mixed & generally enjoying the moment. Saw no bother, even after the game. This is how football should be imo.

Man Utd for the way in which they play the game, Reading for finishing a lot higher than most expected.

Most unfavourite Premier Team are The Hammers.

Traffic congestion is absolute fucking chaos when they are at home, but I only care when I'm in London. To get from Custom House to Barking, a distance of 3 miles, when the shop closes on Saturdays, is nothing short of a nightmare. The sooner they move to the old Post Office site at Canning Town, the better.
