When my dad got his pc he signed up with Telewest Blueyonder
£46 a month for broadband, phone and basic tv (sky 1, ukgold,etc)

They been taken over by Virgin media now and my cousin who lives in same street has just got a better deal for £30 a month.

Having rang up they been told they cant have current offer as its for Brand New Customers only. They did say they could drop to £40 as technically it would be upgrading service to 4 for £40 which as well as 3 options in title also includes a virgin mobile sim card (300 mins and 300 texts)

As they spend most of time in Spain now this isnt much use. What advice would you give. They dont really want to go to Sky for 12 months to come back as 8 months out of country its going to be hard to find a date to get dish etc fitted and they still going to be paying for nothing. Who gets what package and what does it cost elsewhere. Is there also any service where you can cancel it for certain months. They Sky package they have in Spain they only pay whilst out there.

Ps any mods reading this, would appreciate if you copied it to other forums and post any replies it might generate. ty

you should be able to drop to the 3 for £30 service

but if you know someone who can use the £10 sim card service then that would be better because 300 mins and 300 texts for £10 is decent value just got the sim card myself

Yeah but all the family have decent mobile deals and dont want to just give it to anyone as anything over the free allowance would go on parents bill
