Good Evening everyone,
Just thought I would be polite and introduce myself.

Hmm, I never know what to say in these intro posts, so bear with me.
My name is Brian, I have always been interested in numbers and probability.
I like to bet occasionally, but have had a bit of a break at the minute to be honest.

Never the less.

What I do find amazing is all the systems and tipsters on the market, all claiming to be brilliant, all the theories and myths which need to be dispelled in order to get an understanding of the fundamentals of gambling, but never will due to the fact that the high profile TV presenters go along with them and spread them even more.

You know the ones, stuff like "oh the bookies must have took a pounding then that favourite came home", yet they somehow forgot to mention the all important book price % and over-round.
Let us not forget, these people are "experts", so clearly know they are speaking rubbish, aimed at the average Joe to think he can just bet on jolly's and other reasons.

Anyways, thats another story.

I will try and contribute as often as I can and hopefully not annoy anyone in the process, I wont intentially annoy anyone or try to cause trouble, so if I do offend you I apologise and please feel free to PM me.

Sometimes I am sure I will ask what people's experiences have been with X tipster / X Program or X Software.
Do not see this as spamming, I am just trying to get a different or overall point of view of how good or bad the said thing is and why it is good / bad.

Hi Brian,

Well i see you have been ignored, they have probably heard all this stuff befor and are bored with it.

This is my first post since joining so thought id chat with a newbe rather than making an arse of myself with the regulars.

Me - been gambling since i could reach the slots on fruit machines, spent about 15yrs as a sick gambler experimenting with bookies, casinos, stocks and shares, spread betting etc before i came to my senses a little and started at least to think logically about what i was doing and how things worked.

this was not without some false eureka moments! for example the time in the casino playing roullette i thought i'd discovered an un beatable system, you know the one. just bet red and double your bet when you loose! has to come in some time ................

Any way i am now interestested in Arbitrage opportunities and would like to me similar poeple.

I have also looked at various systems and autoated systems, i find most of these are crap and the others i am too wary of to try. Bet angel comes in the later catagory, have you tried any.
