Posted this on Betfair- just my views on BB winner. So by process of elimination Nicky, Tracy and Charley are the dark side so are discounted. Ziggy is a slimeball. The Samanda Express gives great hope to the twins but I really do think that they were put in to attract viewers at the start of the show rather than for one of them to win win it- there will probably be a gimmick at the end involving the twins but I just can't see it garnering the public's imagination.

So that leaves 5 left ;)

Endemol always seems to want a unique winner each time so Gerry (Brian from previous BB), Liam (Anthony) are out the train window.

I really do think the winner wil be one of Chanelle, Carole or Brian.

Chanelle for the journey (putting up with Ziggy like Ant did with Craig) , Brian as the 1st black winner or Carole as an example of how an older person can adapt and integrate with younger people.

I'd love to see Carole win but her main obstacle will be capturing the 16-35 year old vote (Carole Thatcher did it in I'm A Celeb). So I've backed her for Top Female and in the Winners market large Green (possibly to trade if she gets to last 2).

Thanks feedingtheego. I notice you don't post on Betfair forum anymore (like a lot of other former posters) is everyone here instead? I don't really bother with Betfair forum myself anymore (it's mainly used for ramping instead of serious disscussion).

Please ignore the thread title- it was a mickey take of the Rose Express thread on Betfair (it was the early hours of Saturday morning after a quite a few drinks)- but the contents were my genuine thoughts.

Regarding above 3 choices. Think Brian is the most likely winner at this stage but think 2.2 is too short for half way through the competition- we don't know if he's the 'chosen one' yet and can they manufacture a 'journey' for him? Personally put him around the 2/1 mark.

I think the only ones that can make a challenge, if Brian isn't the 'chosen one', for the title with a 'journey' are Carole and Chanelle. Carole for the reasons stated in the 1st post.

Chanelle I find the interesting one. She's apparently had sex with Ziggy (bookies paid out) and performed a sexual act on Ziggy but these didn't make it to the highlights show as they normally would- so the producers do seem to be protecting her for some reason (could she be the 'chosen one'?). A lot of posters seem to put her in the same category as Nikki from last year- I just don't see it myself. From what I've watched on the highlights show (probably 90% of votes based on) she's just seems your typical 19 year old girl, who's fallen for someone who's subsequently dumped her and is going through the emotions of what any 19 year old would probably go through and being wound up by the presence of the 'other woman' (Charley). I do have a great deal of sympathy for her. I do find her a sweet and genuine girl. Because of this I've also backed Chanelle for top female and in the winners market.

So to state my positions. Winners market- Brian, Liam (small green), Chanelle (Medium Green), Carole (large Green), rest (Red). Female Market- Chanelle (large green), Carole & Charley (medium green), rest red.

nope - couldnt be arsed with Bf this time round - looked three times but havent bothered to post

so with that in mind ubf satisfies all my needs though a couple more BB commentators would be useful

reckon wou WERE right about Brians price when you posted this afternoon but Brian looks like getting a cracker tonight and has been heavily featured (yet again) on BBLB following the noms tonight

I have Carole as top four material but cant see her getting over the line in front as she doesnt have the looks and her age + looks is against her, also she doesnt really get an incredible edit most nights

chanelle is someone who I dont take to heart - so we differ there -I see her as a typical neurotic wannabee (the latter of course she openly admits) also she can be terribly precious and manipulative by acting 'victim'

nonetheless none of the above would stop her winning ie chantelle if endemol chose her

as is well documented elsewhere I am very keen on the idea of a black winner this year and these last few weeks really focus heavily on Brian

If Maggott had got that sort of support I would be living in a bigger house now
