A new service from Sportsbettingindex ( Ian ) that I would recommend.
Ian has teamed up with Wickerman ( Stephen ) to offer a tipping service based solely on Scottish football.

Ian is widely known as an honest and trustworthy guy and Wickerman is probably the most highly regarded member of the UBF for his contribution of consistent winning bets across a variety of sports.

Wickerman will continue to share his best bets on other sports with the Gold members of the Ultimate Betting Forum but his legendary tips on Scottish football will now be only available through subscription to footballbettingindex

I was privy to the proofing trial over the last 2.5 months of the previous Scottish Football season which produced a figure of 93.53 pts profit. On a few occasions I used different bookmakers than advised but still returned a profit of 86 pts.

Those sort of figures will come as no surprise to Ultimate Betting Forum Gold members who are well aware of Wickerman's phenomenal tipping.

I am the first subscriber to this new service and have already received 6 ante post bets each with it's own rationale. The prices for these are still available but if you want to take advantage of these bets, you need to get signed up soon.

Take a look here footballbettingindex and become an FBI agent

Subscription is open to anyone but is limited to 50 people.

Wickerman is an excellent judge of Scottish football and I can see why he has chosen to get paid for his tips, and I am not suggesting that he shouldn't be paid nor deserves it, but I can't help thinking this is a disappointing day for the forum as a whole.

I understand your sentiment ML but Wickerman has his reasons for doing this which are outlined on the site.

He will continue to contribute his normal great value bets across a variety of sports in the Gold section of this forum.

The service is not very expensive imo and will soon pay for itself I think.

As I live abroad, I only have accounts with betfair and Sporting Index (where it can be difficult to get anything on). Would this nullify the value of the service?

Mac - I would say sadly it probably does as accounts will be needed with bookmakers to get quite a few of the bets on

Plus a few more from here that have told me they have subscribed.

Numbers are going up steadily I'm told with some others apart from the UBF crew.

Nice to have a 20-point winner with Stranraer but Coral were the only layers at 4/5 and that price lasted less than ten minutes. I doubt many of us got much on in that time, I managed {exact amount deleted} online. Would be helpful to know the minimum acceptable price for such a large bet.

Mug
Things were a bit up in the air this week with Wickermans computer dying a death - hence no write ups or mentions. In hindsight I should have put up a minimum price for this bet - usually name at least two books. As the price was 8/11 at virtually all books it will be proofed at that.
Cheers
Ian

Real shame that those scoring margin doubles and trebles, won't be recorded on the September figures. Great work Stevie.

Ramsdens Cup

Rangers v QOS
We have been on QOS most weeks and they have yet to let us down but they face a huge task on Tuesday night but they are playing well and are overpriced. Queens go with a full squad apart from Paul Burns who is cup tied. Rangers have lost their young striker Andrew Litlle and winger David Templeton through injury. Queens have the pace to hurt most teams and Rangers defence has looked slow at times. Theres a host of English
scouts coming to watch some of the Queens young lads ,Reilly ,Carmicheal etc,
2 Points Win QOS @ 14/1 Stan James , 11/1 Skybet, Paddy Power
3 Points Rangers v QOS Draw @ 11/2 Ladbrokes, Bwin, Stan James WON

Mentions

A few books now up with the first goalscorer markets , Queens centre forward Nicky Clark is in good form with 7 in his first 9 matches. He's
a son of Sandy Clark who is assistant manager and played for West Ham and Rangers amongst others. Nicky's very good and improving and I know there's a few from the lower leagues in England watching him. I would say he has to be the Queens player who is most likely to score the
bookmakers think that midfielders who score 3 or 4 goals a season are more likely
Nicky Clark first goal ew @ 25/1 Paddy Power and HillsWON
Nicky Clark anytime scorer 17/2 Paddy Power, 8/1 HillsWON
Gavin Reilly anytime scorer 5/1 Hills WON
Willie Gibson anytime scorer 12/1 Hills
