Nice to have a 20-point winner with Stranraer but Coral were the only layers at 4/5 and that price lasted less than ten minutes. I doubt many of us got much on in that time, I managed {exact amount deleted} online. Would be helpful to know the minimum acceptable price for such a large bet.

Mug
Things were a bit up in the air this week with Wickermans computer dying a death - hence no write ups or mentions. In hindsight I should have put up a minimum price for this bet - usually name at least two books. As the price was 8/11 at virtually all books it will be proofed at that.
Cheers
Ian

Real shame that those scoring margin doubles and trebles, won't be recorded on the September figures. Great work Stevie.

See they were Mentions. Couldn't get on myself as busy. What did they pay in points profit ?

36 - A 105 point profit - made up for the season so far.

Nik Nak - Funny you should say that, I emailed Ian to make the same point.

Definitely. As they were only mentions they didn't have points value attributed to them. I went for 12 x 0.25 pt doubles and 8 x 0.25pt trebles

I was busy - only had time to do one triple and one set of doubles.

Did the right one(s). Lucky bastard = me .

Glad some of you took the plunge and got some great results.
As I always run a transparent service I cannot include them in the official results (much as I would like to!) but they have been mentioned and linked to on the blog.
Cheers
Ian

Front page of daily record, Scottish Punter wins 110k, on winning margins on 4 Scottish Cup matches.

Hope it was someone on here .

Hills spokesman Tony Kenny said "We gave them (Coldsteam) a luxury coach for their marathon trip (to Caithness to face Wick) and they end up costing us £100K. It's unbelievable"

Absolutely cracking day today. 65pts profit on the day puts the month just into profit now.

Well done Stevie

We've backed Peterhead six times this season, without a collect. On several if not all occasions this team has drifted on the Saturday morning, sometimes as much as quarter of a ball. Any thoughts?

Mug - sorry - never seen your post! - all we can say is that Peterhead have been a huge disappointment this season conisdering the amount of money they spent and how well they were backed pre season, you would have expected the team to finally gel but it simply hasn't happened.
It has been a tough start to the season but things are now beginning to turn around.
Usually we only offer a seasons subscription at the beginning of the season but we have an offer on at the moment - subscribe for the rest of the 2011-12 for £200 which saves £160 on monthly fees.

SBI, I'm interested in signing up but am curious about a couple of things.

Is there any sort of write-up for the recommended bets? I'm not talking lengthy previews, but 2/3 lines with some key info?

Also, how do the prices stand up, not just with the U.K books but also in Asia (SBO, IBC, 188, Pinny) where liquidity can be quite thin on the lower leagues in Scotland? I'm thinking in terms of wanting to get with a team on an alternative handicap or basically anywhere there is liquidity.
