Re: www.footballbettingindex.com
36 anything I get on the mentions I regard as a bonus, I don't even try to get on the correct scores, these have to be shop only bets. My point is that some of the main 10-point bets are unrealistic considering market liquidity. Pinnacle for example will take a single $500 bet on Scottish football on a Friday afternoon before the price moves automatically several ticks.
Regarding steaks for point, personally I try for £50. I think more than that is very difficult to get on, and rather greedy. Anyone playing for less than £20 a point is struggling to get enough value to make paying the sub worthwhile.
As you suggest, getting on is a practical matter, sometimes one judges that a lower price than recommended is acceptable, sometimes one finds alternative markets to play and so on. This comes with general betting experience and having a lot of accounts (or at least I used to).
But I do think the official bets should be prices and steaking-levels that one could reasonably expect subscribers to get on in numbers. That's not always the case.
Personally I'd be more than happy to pay to receive Stephen's thoughts on Scottish football, without any specific recommended prices and steaks. But that wouldn't suit everyone and I guess it would make the service hard to market.
