Default Re: US Open 2007

One running, one jogging and one has fallen. I would have taken that before the start so not too displeased.
At the risk of aftertiming, I managed to to get 150/1 Ames in running on Thursday when he was in the clubhouse at +3. Too be honest I threw a couple of other darts too Green and Howell at 400/1(a casey like round would put Howell back in it, but that is forlorn). 100/1 Mickleson had the heart beating faster for a while too. But the main reason, I mention this is to comment on in running for the golf.
I used to be as stubborn as hell as every bookmaker adopted the Dick Turpin approach to in running betting, and refuse to bet. But now I do like to find a few gems(for example, I had Ames as 100/1 tops, if still 1/5th first five, and Mickleson no more than 80's(factoring in, he would be a force if close enough on day 4).
Sadly I do see this event as a bit of a lottery, but at least I'm happy enough to still be holding a couple of tickets.
