I agree. I think it was dangerous for England to start that slowly when you have already got the longest tail in world cricket. If you start slowly and cautious and still lose wickets to either world class balls (which happens) or freakish accidents (which happens a lot with England - suicidal runouts) you are really in trouble. With the lineup they have at the moment I think they have to go for broke. Then again the lack of early runs could be down to a complete lack of confidence. It just seems silly that chasing 207 should be made hard and coming down to the penultimate ball (what if Flintoff hadn't got 2 runs but only a single of the 3rd ball of the last over - leaving Dalrymple on strike?). It should never have been close but they made it close.
