Re: Individual Matches Thread I was reacting more to the 'best game of the tournament' comments, which I don't agree with at all. It was a good game, although it had more to do with what was at stake rather than the quality of football I thought. The game really picked up when Gilardino, Iaqunta and then Del Piero were brought on. Italy having four attack-minded players on the field really opened the game up. I commend Lippi for that. Extra time was the best thirty minutes of football I've watched all tournament. I thought it was just a decent and enjoyable game up until that point. The Italian players were staying down an age though after tackles, which spoiled the second half somewhat imho.
