I think the group games were the best way to cash in but now it seems harder to predict with plenty of good players in each match now.

Was on Ballack at 4s yesterday and was convinced he'd done enough but wasn't to be (Klose got it).

Fun while it lasted and have won a few quid but can't see an edge now.

Anyone else think the same or will you judge each market on its merits?
david, i also agree with you.

fortunately i had a few winners in the group stages to make it pay, but have since not really had much look. thought ronaldhino/kaka the other night was a solid choice and i also had a small amount on ballack yesterday, who i cant believe did not win.

it is much tougher now in the knockout stages as there are 22 players that can now win the award whereas in the group stages it could be narrowed down significantly.

i will watch rooney with interest today and hopefully get some more profits, but as you i will be watching the market with interest on the games probably without having too much of an investment
