Oddstrader was conceived to fill the growing demand for a trading platform to perform both simple and complex bets within this arena. Oddstrader is easy to use and flexible enough to suit all levels of punters alike.When all the elements of “Oddstrader” are combined it becomes an invaluable aid, designed to increase both the pleasure and profitability of your day to day betting.
Currently within Oddstrader we feature the two main betting exchanges, Betfair and Betdaq. There will be further exchanges added shortly. We would also very much like to include Bookmakers in our portfolio. Oddstrader itself is best described as an all round tool for use in everyday betting. It can be divided up into the following sections.
1. Front end customer interface.
2. Settings.
3. Trading.
4. Back office.
5. Analysis.
6. Customer support.
I will review them individually.
The front end interface has been designed with the ability to customise the look of the application as a user sees fit. It is quick and easy to rearrange windows and panels to suit the individual bettor’s needs. Any amount of markets can be opened and arranged in the order desired.

This allows for easy viewing of corresponding markets either, inter-exchange or inter-market as well as the ability to line up events that are running close together. For example, the horse racing markets.
The Settings on Oddstrader enable you to set up, “profiles”, both for individual markets entered and a global profile to cover all markets. A user may like to bet or trade differently depending on the sport or whether or not the event is “in-running”. Each profile will take advantage of the trading tools available and can automatically switch from an ante-post to an in-running profile if desired.

Betting with Oddstrader could not be easier. Users have access to all the tools needed to trade successfully. These include:

1. A turbo refresh rate for markets with fast changing odds such as horse racing.
2. Ability to set variable or fixed stakes.
3. A kill or fill function enabling you to cancelled unmatched bets after a set period of time.
4. Back and lay function.
5. Offset. The ability to set the offset as either an odd or % value between the back and lay side.
6. Back and lay function with an in built stake redistribution to equalise profit.
7. Reverse back or lay. Allows you to back at the lay odd and vice versa.
8. Ability to have preset back / lay odds.
9. Stop loss. Gives the user the ability to automatically get out of a position if it becomes unfavourable.
10. Incremental back and lay. Will place the first part of the trade, then as portions of the bet get matched, Oddstrader will place an opposing bet at odds specified, for the same amount. A great in-running tool.
11. One click betting. Ideal for the fast release of trades.
12. Trigger betting. This brings a whole new dimension to the betting world. The variables are endless. We have placed a selection of the popular triggers used within the programme. These include:
a. Back/lay an individual selection. An example would be setting the trigger to back team A at 3.6 for €10.Oddstrader would continually scan the selected market and if the 3.6 became available, would place the bet for you.
b. Back/lay the whole field. Similar to an individual trigger except it places bets on the entire field at preset odds.
c. Back all. This setting will scan for “under rounds” associated with each market and when one is found, back all of the selections to lock in a profit.
d. Lay at the off. This is designed for in running events and will place lay bets across the entire field to capture any arbitrage opportunities. Laying all horses at 1.8 for example and hoping 2 or more horses get matched during the race.
e. Inbuilt blank sheets allowing you to design and test your own trigger betting systems

As all punters know, keeping a record of all your bets is an important part of making profit. Knowing which markets one does well in and, just as important, which ones are not so successful can make the difference between long term profit and loss. Oddstrader has the ability to record all your trades directly into an excel spreadsheet.
This leads nicely on to Odds trader’s analysis capabilities.
Along with the ability to automatically record and analyze your betting habits, Oddstrader can record market price data into excel, for use in spotting patterns in price movements. When combined with the “traditional form book” this becomes a very powerful trading tool.
