Default Re: Formula One, Monaco GP

Heidfeld brought it home in 7th at Monaco, despite qualifying back in 16th, so landed the 2-1 bet (although went out to 4-1 after qualifying)

Due to the lack of activity in the bronze section I dont see the point in starting a seperate thread for the British GP.

Of the prices up for Silverstone so far Barrichello looks a good bet to get some points at 4/5. Button has brought the BAR home in 3rd here the last 2 years and 8th from last on the grid in 2003, so the car seems to perform well at the circuit. Also Barrichello is a track specialist out qualify Michael Schumacher the last 3 years which included winning the race from pole in 2003. In 2004 he finished 3rd and last year he was 1 second behind Schumacher in 7th, but the Ferrari was awful. He seems to have got to grips with the new BAR after a solid 4th in the last race in Monaco (which would have been 3rd but for a speeding in the pit lane penalty) He is also worth a small bet at 16-1 for a podium finish with sporting odds (next biggest is 9-1)
