How to get to silver and gold is explained in the Upgrade Account on the left hand side of the page.
Obviously there is little incentive for Gold members to post much in the Bronze section but I'm sure if new members start threads with a post worth responding to, they will get some response from Gold members.
If the quality of the posts is good it will be picked up on and the time it takes to get to be a Gold member will not be long.
Take lostinamerica for example, it was quite evident that he was a quality poster and he very quickly became a Gold member.
If you want to get to Gold...show us what you've got...
