I know I said I wouldn't get involved anymore but... Ronaldo 5/1 with PP. He's evens to score and one goal will break Gerd Muller's milestone. He may be fat and slow but he can still put 'em away. Have to fancy he'll get it if he scores and Brazil win.

I can't make my mind up about this one. Yes he is embarassingly out of shape for a professional footballer and he can't run or jump either. But boy can he still finish. Give him the ball in the right spot and bingo! I'm still weighing up whether he'll be able to cope with the physical defending of the Ghanains and how many chances he'll get. I initially thought 5/1 was way too skinny, (pun intended), and was going to lay it, but think I'll just watch and see if he embarasses himself or puts himself in the record books.

Prior to the England match, I almost made a case for Terry being MOM, looking betting value than first goalscorer (had he scored and a clean sheet for example) as well as a few other reasons, however never put, he could get it without merit into the equasion. Anyway, at least it has restored my faith in having little faith that they will get it right and I have sided with a small flutter on Carlos.

Despite the fact that I slated him earlier he actually had a good game tonight. Don't think he deserves MoM though. Vieira or Ribery would probably be my choice. BUT the technical committee do like to pick a surprise from time to time. Good luck.

To be honest I didn't want the Italians to score this early. He's not gonna get forward so much now and could well be anonymous for the rest of the game. A Ukraine goal might change things but I can't see that happening.
