| im at work listening to SIS sports daily in between the morning dog racing.talking thro the first round matches the guy has just said that the dutch are certainties against serbia and motenegro. "theyll knock 6 past them no trouble" he said. cant believe that people spout shit like that without doing any thinking/research,just hope that all my punters were listening as well. |

| Spread firms seem to think Poland are a smidge too big at 2.12 as well, but not massively - more like 2.02 Looks like someone wants Ecuador on bf, trying to get with them on the 0.5 handicap for about 25k. Not outrageous for that market though. |

| Spreads Dept. | people are taking 16 on 7+ goals in the germany game i backed at 46 thinking it was high, ive laid in the 20s as its too low. its like 2001 revisited.

| I'm playing this substitutions market. Bit risky but there could be some value. Backed six in the Germany game and Layed six in the Poland game. Could be very short foray into this strange market. Also sold the 'stop@booking' in the Poland game at 10. I like the Japanese ref. I don't think he'll be hanging around. I've a feeling one of these games could go high with the refs wanting to show who's boss and what the new regulations are all about. Bookings quotes are high enough so I prefer this route. He just had three WC qualifiers and the first booking times were 4, 16 and 24 minutes. |

| Wanted to be conservative to start off but have now accumulated a position on Poland in their match against Ecuador that is making me a little uncomfortable. First games are always a bit of a stab in the dark but I'm sticking with it as this could turn out to be the rick of the tournament.

| Gold Member | i'm with you colo regards starting off conservatively...just a 2-0 3-0 small stakes correct score bet on the germany match...i may get involved deeper during the match, want to see how things pan out early though.

Hmm... I feel a little lucky, as I would have taken the 46 on 7+ instead had I seen it in time. Hell, maybe I'd have laid off and taken the 6+... but maybe not! Whatever, I'll take it
