i) doesn't this amount to betfair changing our terms and conditions without getting our assent? are they allowed to do that?

ii) judging by an email i received from betfair, i assume that the purpose of this change (which i just happened to discover myself: they didn't tell me) is to make it clear that the previous week's premium charge is not to be used in calculating this week's premium charge because it was not generated this week (although it was definitely paid this week). however imo we are still being charged incorrectly. they told me that the premium charge CAN NOT be offset in the weekly calculation. clearly this is false as the algebra below demonstrates:

PC(for wk x) = 0.2*GP - comm gen - data ch - PC(for wk x)

2PC(for wk x) = 0.2*GP - comm gen - data ch

PC(for wk x) = 0.5 * (0.2*GP - comm gen - data ch)

i.e. it can be offset but unfortunately it would cost betfair a lot of money!

thus most being premium charged are still being charged twice what they should be according to the (now amended) terms and conditions on a weekly basis as far as i understand it.
