OK - today I've gone for a couple of speculative selections. Ashley Cole @ 42 Gary Neville @ 75 I can see a dour, tight affair today and the two England full backs could be key. Cole is coming off a great performance against Ecuador and his link up with Joe Cole could be England's key to winning the game. Likewise the dependable Gary Neville. Granted, he's not match fit but his solidity at the back could be just the spur that kickstarts Beckham. He's probably the best crossing full back in the World and if he gives his usual 100% he could go close. Last edited by ozz : 1st July 2006 at 15:51.

Ozz, thanks for that. I feel that England will win this one, and I cannot see a player of Gerrard quality not make a telling impact in at least one match. I like the fact that he dosn't need to score to get the nod. 8/1 is the biggest I have seen, but seems tempting enough. Good Luck.

Three outsiders today Philip Lahm @ 27 - has shown his worth already and should have enough involvement in the game to give us a run for our money. Gattuso @ 21 - tireless worker who will be a key player for Italy. Has already won MoM in defeat of Ukraine. Zambrotta @ 34 - outstanding last time out and should really have won it. Mobile full back can play on either flank.

Tonight let's have a pop at: Ribery - 15.5 on BF - sure to be involved from the off and has looked very sharp thus far. Makele - 26 on Lads - may get bigger on BF - could be the key French player in snuffing out the threat of Deco and also doing his usual water carrying job for Zidane. Zidane - 6 on BF - a stake back saver on the ageing magician. Has still got the goods as proved oin the knockout stages.

One last pop tonight. Unusually for me I'm going to slap all of my MoM market winnings back on my final selections. I only viewed it as a novelty market anyway so will either win big or finish level for the market. Thuram - 38 - course and distance winner. Key player in the middle of defence. Malouda - 70 - has shown glimpses of how good a player he could be. Had a few chances of goals as well. Big priced speculative selection. Zambrotta - 34 - Very versatile full back who poses plenty of atacking threat. Toni - 18 - big price about a quality player who could come good tonight. Potential match winner.

I did a couple the other day. Cannavaro at 16s. An Italy win and clean sheet would probably secure it if FIFA decide to give Zidane the Golden Ball. Zambrotta at 33s. He's due one of these. In cracking form.

| Thuram has been massive tonight, and Sagnol a blinder too. Cannavaro his usual self and Gattuso as well. Thuram a big shout if he drops, Ozz.
