I'm on Srna today as well, at 12's Can't have Ronaldinho at the price. I fancy the Aussies to put up a bit more resistance than most so might take a look at someone like Lucas Neill at a big price - 33+

I think I've worked out their formula for games such as Croatia 0 Japan 0 FIFA checklist: 1) Did the favourites win? No, so Man of the Match must be player on other side 2) Do underdogs have quite a famous player? Yes 3) Let's give it to Hidetoshi Nakata If the answer to 2) is No in a 0-0 draw 3) Let's give it to the goalkeeper e.g. Joao Ricardo of Angola

Shouldn't really have a bet here but have gone in on Zidane at 8s. I kind of think he's gone at the game and he'll lose the ball countless times with the South Koreans snapping at his heels. But it could be a dull match and he might be involved in the key moments. Throw in a few nice passes and you never know.

I posted up a bit of 16's about him earlier but had no takers. Like Dave I think he's shot now but his old class is still there in flashes. I'd take 16's but don't see any value at 8's. Good luck though.

Disappointing that only Paddy Power seen to have odds up for the Ukraine-Saudi game. Nevertheless I'm taking their 11s on Rotan. He's the guy that makes their midfield tick. Hopefully his through balls to Shevchenko don't fall foul of flag-happy linesman today.

I'm a bit more optimistic than that Logic. Ze Roberto getting it yesterday was a bit of a surprise. Shevchenko could score and be given a rest. Voronin could bag one as well. I'm hoping for a repeat of Spain-Ukraine or Argentina-Serbia whereby the playmaker gets the vote with goals being spread around. I'm also hoping he pings in a free-kick or two

Voronin at 13/2 for me. After analysising my bets, have decided to focus on players who have already had good games rather than hoping that they may come good. + Robben, Essien, Riquelme - Ronaldinho, Shevchenko Voronin looked pretty good against Spain so he's getting my cash. But agree that 16s about Rotan is big so backed him too.

Vladyslav Vashchuk misses out after his red card against Spain. Volodymyr Yezerskiy, Andriy Gusin & Ruslan Rotan drop to the bench. Maxim Kalinichenko, Andriy Vorobey and Oleg Shelayev come in. | |
