yes, admittedly they will have to do it in 3 whereas some teams will play 7 but i really think there is a chance that this years highest supremacy could come from portugal or mexico against this lot.

Looks alright to me keyser.

Had quite a few bets lately which I can't be bothered listing, but one I think is worth flagging before it gets cut.

50/1 USA/Ghana dual forecast with Stan James. Just too big in what is a very open group.

10/1 now

Could still be a bit of value but I expect T&T to give them a serious run for their money.

Re Angola. If I had one concern:

Angola change system as Germany looms

Angola coach Luis Oliveira Goncalves has decided to change the team's style of play in a bid to avoid humiliation in the upcoming World Cup.

The Africans are the second-lowest ranked team in the tournament, and as such Goncalves has abandoned the 4-4-2 formation used in their failed African Cup of Nations campaign for a more conservative 4-5-1, with captain Fabrice Akwa as a lone striker. And Akwa admitted it was quite late to be throwing out a system they had worked with for so long.

"As it's new, we're still getting used to it, adapting ourselves to this style of game so we can be prepared for the game against Portugal. But we don't have much time left to get ready," he told the Daily News.

Which probably means they'll lose all their games 2-0 rather than 4-1

I'm surprised to see the Poland/Germany and Swiss/France dual forecasts still at 4/5. Especially Swiss/France. I'm going to have to go in again. Korea are going backwards. Humped by Ghana, Advocaat (third-rate Hiddink) seems to be at a loss what to do. I wouldn't be surprised if Togo did them over.

Angola still 14/1 to concede most with Paddy Power.

Posted this on BZ ..

Beckham at 16/1 to be Man of the Match v Paraguay at 16/1 (bet365).

Massive price.

Set-pieces could be key in this one if Paraguay pack men behind the ball.

High profile players have such an advantage in this market so can't believe he's 16/1.

Found one

First Italy player to get booked - Gennaro 'The Snarl' Gattuso at a whopping 14/1.

There's the catch. I read that on BF just after sticking the bet on, but couldn't find anything on FIFA.

Oh well... about time I threw up a stinker.

Making up for it by having a few quid on over 280 yellows at 2/1. Shame it's with the only firm that won't lay me a decent bet (Blue Sq).

for some reason, probably the thought of the total risk on all the bets placed, but convincing myself that its the price. but i think that the new betfair market on total reds offers slightly better value to go high than on the spreads.

therefore i've closed my position on the spreads cost free, and laid 0-17 reds at 2.12

it seems low especially when skybet are prepared to offer 2.37, and BSQ 2.25.

adding, 0-2 Own goals at 3/1 Corals

ladbrokes are the only ones on oddschecker for this bet and are betting per number. the combined odds add up to 6/4

i have stats suggesting 23 OGs in 569 games which roughly makes the ladbrokes quote nearer the mark.

4 and 3 in the last two 64 games tournaments maybe is why corals price this so high.

ive traded out of France Goals for a 0.4pt profit.

there just seems to be some sort of momentum going on with France just now. or maybe its just that everyone now sees them as potential winners as they are getting tipped everywhere i look. whereas in qualifying they were considered a spent force.

who knows, i may have called it wrong

I was thinking about that last night Keyser. The England goals bet as well.

I still see France as an unspectacular defence-minded team. (BD's 25/1 on them conceding fewest goals looks a cracking e/w bet). Ribery is the guy who can turn them into something special but he won't get a lot of playing time. However, with South Korea looking at all sea, there's now two games with the potential for them to whack a few in. I don't see them getting more than one against the swiss though so it may be best to hold fire for now, and take a good look at the two rags.
