| Don't go quitting on us Rocky I also think that looking at the pre-match numbers, Betdaq was running at about 4 times the amount of the Blue site. Once in-running started the swing begun. I put this down to some proper cricket punters using purple to take positions, lumpy appearing once matches start on the blue site to inflate turnover plus the high percentage of random Blue Site punters who just 'need' something to bet on and find an in-running cricket match to get their fix. I genuinely think these are really positive signs so quickly, as someone once said, it's all about momentum.... |

| England matches would usually be around £5M to £10M, and this match was one sided with the sending off, with plenty matched at 1.0x The beginning of October will be a truer reflection when people have felt the effects of the pirate tax and money has been shifted.

| The production of trading software will provide the best tipping point. Particularly a piece of software which can be run alongside the standard betfair software, allowing bets to be placed into both. You have to make it easy to transfer liquidity without the effort required and time cost of simply providing liquidity with nothing being matched. Doing this at the same time will sove this problem, until such a point is reached when the liquidity is good enough for people to make a choice to change.

| To be honest I think the money on Betdaq is 'smart' money, and on betfair it was 'mug' money. The times when daq price was longer than fair was often me making sure I got my money on (and I am not afraid to admit it) cos I felt it was more of a fair price than was being offered - the mid game squeeze wasnt being reflected accurately cos of all the money traded on Notts at low prices. Been an interesting couple of days trading on Daq - I made the sort of profit tonight I would normally expect on Betfair, and I only gave a small percentage back on comission
