| Hi Has anyone used the Football Cash Generator? and if so what is there opinion of it? A Friend of mine bought it and I had a read of it, it seemed pretty good and indepth, although when reading through he was "breaking his own rules" as he described the way to do things, therefore everything felt a bit disjointed. Becuase as a total and complete beginner to exchange betting what i really need to was the read the examples as they are supposed to be played, strictly by the book. |

| Spreads Dept. | it doesnt work. it all looks good when you lay the draw at 3.3 when man u are at home to fulham and the draw goes out to 5 after an early man u goal it doesnt though tell you that if man u lose the first goal the draw will come in to 3. it also doesnt cope with a quick goal scored before the betfair market re opens. bottom line, you can only win at gambling when the price is in your favour. with thousands of punters chasin the FCG pot of gold, it was actually value to do the reverse for a while. however the furore has now died down ever since people realised it was pants. possibly the greatest marketing scam since the ipod.

| Spreads Dept. | god no. i just know the full workings having been passed a rough cut of it once. it has been talked about on here before, although is talked about at far greater length on bf. ask the same Q on BF and you will get 20 replies, three will be from selling agents telling you how wonderful it is, another 4 from people who have tried it and lost cash with it and the other 13 will be either negative posters (a lot of them on BF) or punters who can see through it and wont try it.

| ok, thanks for the advice. in that case how do i go about finding a system that does work, i have found that everyone says their system is the best and wants X amount for it, but it never really works. are there any decent systems available that you know of |

| Spreads Dept. | no, to be honest, if a system really did work the vendor would be pretty stupid to sell it. there are people on BF who talk of horse racing systems working and certainly over the years a few have been known to be successful in the long term but for football i think you will be struggling. the betfair market is now so efficient that once you allow for commission of 3-5% the chances of having a system that pays up and above that is remote. your best chance of ever winning at football, esp on betfair, is to have a good knowledge of what the odds should be in running. i would surmise that the quotes directly before kick off are rarely far from the real true price of the game about to start. possibly your best avenue is the market with only 1% flat commission, asian handicaps and total goals.
