Just finished reading .. Smart Money, by Michael Konik, and think the review
belongs here.

IMHO, its a very good account, of the professional sports bettor, at least in
the 2000-2005 period, and is an excellent read.

It also deals with the numbing boredom, making positive expectation bets, week in week out, and how 'achieving nothing' in the grand scale of things,
can become disillusuioning, to say the least.

The writer is clearly an expert on the profession, and the scumbag bookmakers, who do everything to stop professionals to win money. Maybe the activities in Costa Rica, was part of the spur for the USA to clamp down on Poker/Internet bookies.

Its a sad fact, when u win with bookies, u have to win twice. At least with
exchanges, getting paid, is not a problem .. and, this is worth 5%, to me at least.

Sat was a good day going 4-0 in ncaa fb. Texas Tech and Washington both won outright as dogs and the under on Texas Tech and Cini were also both good.

A good day Sat winning both ncaa fb games. Northern Illinois covered at the end with a touchdown. Ohio had a great 2nd half to win the game.

In the Hilton contest I went 2-2-1 moving from 21 to 22nd. My overall record there is 30-20-5 right at 60%

But....My first 2 plays in the Hilton Contest both lost..... Atlanta +11.5 and Detroit +3.5 So I will need a 3-0 day just to go 3-2 for the weekend. Not a good spot to be in. The rest of my plays in the Hilton Contest today are:
